Chapter Fifty-Seven: Intertwined Hearts

"Sister, is there a problem? Did I do something wrong? Why is Mother Superior calling me?" Mariya worriedly asks the nun, while she's walking with her at the orphanage's hallway.

Sister Angela shook her head in return.

"I honestly don't have an idea, Mariya. Our Mother Superior just asked me to accompany you to her office, and she didn't say anything else." the nun responded.

Mariya's nervousness grew after she heard Sister Angela. She's thinking that maybe she did something wrong, and they want her out from the orphanage. She knows that she's old enough to live outside the orphanage and become independent, but she still can't imagine herself living away from the children.

She's an in-house teacher at Sunshine Orphanage, where she also grew up. The nuns are running the orphanage, which house 80 children who are deaf and mute.
