Home at Last

Noah refused to look at me, let alone talk to me. I could understanding his anger towards my family for suggesting he was abusive towards me, but I wanted to remind him that he was; with my consent. 

He typed away on his laptop as I saw in the opposite aisle on a comfy leather oversized chair. I was yawning and feeling guilty for not having my own laptop out. That's if I still had a job. Do I still have a fiance? Do I still want one?

"Tea, miss?"

"No, thank you."

"Mr. Talon insists. He says hot tea is calming." 

I looked up at Noah, his head still buried in his screen. When did he do this? I hadn't seen him so much as say hello to the flight crew.

"And water. He insists on you drinking water." She handed me a Fiji water bottle and a mug with an herbal bag steeping in the steaming hot water.
