I was locking up my office when I saw Noah and his personal assistant, Jennifer, walking out as well. It took me a minute to register they were both looking at me at the end of the hallway. Quickly I closed my mouth and blinked.
Noah's smirk told me I had been caught checking out my boss. I looked down at the floor while I walked towards them. He put his hand on Jennifer's shoulder and a surge of jealousy went through me. But as I caught up with them he was sending her off.
"You know, Jennifer, we can continue this tomorrow." He patted her shoulder.
