“Yes, prince Lyall, why do you look so surprised?” Chloe asked

Leanda couldn’t say a word, she couldn’t answer her question. Does that mean that Lyall was still in the palace? Then why did he have to move to another place? Why wasn’t he in that room anymore? What was he hiding from her? Leanda couldn’t tell it.
