He Is Still Here

“H…He is gone.” Leanda stuttered as she felt the weight of her situation crushing in on her. Possible scenarios of what could happen after this raising through her head.

Her heart raced with fear as she thought about what could happen if her dirty little secret gets known.

Leanda picked herself up from her floor, she wiped her tears, she knew she had to be strong, for herself and so she could face her unknown future. She wasn’t sure of what lay ahead of her, but she just wanted to prepare towards it, she had to be strong for whatever the consequences of her actions might be.

Leanda sighed and walked towards the door, she looked to the left and right to be sure that there was no one coming before stepping out of the room.

She turned and looked back at the empty room and the realization struck her again, Lyall was gone and she was all alone in this, she was all alone, she would have to give the explanation and also face the consequences on her own.
