Elevator Romance

Next day…

Brixlee paced back and forth Xavier’s office, curiousity etched on her face. It was still early that morning and she was feeling energetic as always.

“We can’t be sure Kyle isn’t lying about the note. What if he decided to lie about it just so you can stop hating him?!” Xavier asked motioning Brixlee to sit and she did.

“Why would he lie about something so sensitive?” Brixlee said, as if questioning herself.

Xavier cocked his eyebrows. “How would I know? I don’t think you should take the note so seriously” he implied.

“I can’t seem to get it off my mind, I think I’ll go visit him at the detention center after work. I have a lot of unanswered questions lingering.” she stopped to analyze Xavier’s gaze and she could see it wasn’t approving. “You kinda don’t have an option. We’re going together after work hours.” she added with a forced smile.

“Sure, whatever. I’m sure this visit will prove to you that Kyle probably made everything up” Xavier implied returning the forced smile.
