Confusion and surprise washed over Brixlee’s as she looked up into the face of her rescuer. It was Nathan. His steady gaze met hers with a reassuring glimmer, silently communicating that everything would be okay.

He carried her away from the runway, his steps strong and determined. Brixlee’s tears began to flow, not from embarrassment but from a release of tension and frustration. She clung to him, her face pressed against his chest, her earlier panic turning into gratitude for his timely intervention.

Outside the venue, Nathan gently lowered Brixlee to her feet, his hands still supporting her, as if unwilling to let her face the world alone. He slowly removed her mask as they stood beneath a canopy of blooming cherry blossoms, their delicate petals fluttering in the evening breeze. The soft scent of flowers filled the air, offering a moment of solace and tranquility.
