CHAPTER EIGHTY: IN PRISON.

My sister looked really terrible. She had bruises all over her body and one of her eyes was purple and was half closed.

She was limping and also had a bandage around her head. What could have happened to her? Did the police do this to her? Or was it Ares?

When she came close to me and sat down, I picked up the telephone and she reluctantly did the same.

“How are you doing? No, that's a stupid question to ask. From the way you're looking, you're obviously not doing fine. Who did this to you sis?” I asked her instead, waiting for her reply. She just held the telephone to her ear but she wasn't saying anything.

She couldn't maintain eye contact with me and I don't know why. She kept looking at me through the glass that separated us but she never looked me in the eye.
