“Yes I was saying something, Ares”. She told me, her hand still on my leg.

“Ohh, what were you saying then? Please repeat it, I kinda lost myself for a while”. I said and smiled apologetically as I scratched my head. She sighed then she started talking.

“Well, I was saying you shouldn't let them bother you and they are not also worth your thought and your time. After all, they got what they deserved too so you really shouldn't stress yourself over them”. She repeated, looking me in the eye.

“Yeah yeah, true. I'll keep that in mind, thanks”. I said, not meeting her gaze. I really didn't want us to talk about this again. I desperately needed something else to say so as to change the topic.

“Woah, all that talking made me hungry. I'll head out and get something to eat. Do you want anything?” I said, changing the topic and hoping she'll do the same.
