COULD THIS DAY GET ANY BETTER?

Judy called me that night to inform me that I now have a new secretary and I told him to forward her details to me which he did after the call. I looked through everything concerning her and I was satisfied.

I was also happy with the fact that Winnifred and the cook were the ones that chose her so there shouldn't be a problem. I'll meet her tomorrow to be sure she's good for the job.

I finished up what I was doing and went to bed.

Winnie.

I woke up with mum by my side and I smiled. I didn't know when I fell asleep. I went to the mirror to look at myself and I discovered my eyes were a little bit red and I figured I must have cried myself to sleep.

I went to the bathroom and had my bath. By the time I was done, mum was already awake.

“Good morning mum, how was your night?” I asked her as I began blow drying my hair.

“Good morning my child, it was splendid. I slept like a baby, what about yours?” She said full of smiles as she got up from the bed.
