I hate people. I despise human species with the core of my heart, except a few selected one, of course.

And, there are a fucking lot of them for my liking. I reluctantly joined the gathering, my brother's persistent pestering dragging me into a crowd I preferred to avoid. Surrounded by an array of personalities, some clumsily dancing, others indulging in the free-flowing alcohol, I couldn't help but feel out of place.

My disdain deepened as I scanned the room, my brother conspicuously absent, probably lost in flirting with random woman. Out of the two of us, Lev is said to be highly extrovert but only with certain people. I am aware of his sunshine nature that's why I like to keep watch on him as much as I could from behind the curtains, without being noticed.

I was lost in my own thoughts when the loud cheering from the dance floor disturbed t
