When he left the table, I could not just sit down and watch him leave after I noticed the sudden change in her behaviour.

I excused myself from Lev and Anna, a fabricated pretext hanging on my lips. Walking past the corridor he took a left turn, next and I followed him, discreetly. He stopped ahead of the library and entered it. It is ridiculous to imagine him in a place like library, with a book in his hand, engrossed in the writing so much that he forgets the world around him.

But now that the thought is imprinted in my head, I can not help but think how impressive he would look like that.

Weaving through the book-filled aisles, I caught up to him just as he reached for a book. Without a word, I grabbed his arm and gently pulled him into a secluded corner, away from prying eyes and library etiquette.
