NATHANIEL'S POV

WATCHING HER almost lost forever, wandering in the abyss or wherever witches souls went to was the worse thing ever, I had watched as she fought for her.

First, it had started when the candles went off as a soft breeze blew through the from, in our spite to get in with what we were doing as quickly as possible we had forgotten to shut the window, and so when the breeze came it had swept not just the flickering candles but also the sea salt that had been used to protect her soul.

It was a moment of anxiety and panic, we tried all we could to fix it as quickly as possible and since we were three novices or at least one and half since Jane proved herself tonight — It didn't change the fact that we had almost lost her soul.

It took four heavy cups of hot coffee to make her warm even after that she had needed to take her bath in a water too warm.
