NATHANIEL'S POV

Immediately I had Olivia on my back, I decided not to sprint forward. I could sense a few movements around and I wanted to confirm if it was threatening.

As soon as I confirmed we weren't in danger, I took off, wildly.

I felt Olivia thrash around on my back but her movements were too slow if she wanted to save herself. Also, I could detect that her heartbeat had spiked up.

"Shut the fuck up…" I said, in my wolf form but then she couldn't hear me.

I started to sprint speedily toward the mansion but then I wasn't fast enough. The fight with the other wolves had taken a toll on me as they were no ordinary wolves.

I had a few gashes on my body which weren't detectable due my black fur.

A minute passed, and I was at my mansion which was a few miles away from the diner.

Immediately I got in, I carried Olivia up to the bedroom.

It was a hassle carrying her up the stairs but then I was able to do it.

I got into the bedroom, and I placed her on the bare floor. I decided not to
