Chapter 42: The Night He Came

I sighed heavily when I noticed the sound was made by a rabbit having fun alone in the quiet park.

I gave him more time, maybe he is busy or something.

With my wobbling feet, I return back to the hotel feeling annoyed and disappointed.

We promise to meet each under under the umbrella tree but he failed, and didn't come. Neither did he left a message to apologize for his fault or the issue he had on his way.

I met the bustling party going on in the hotel basement - on the second floor.

"Hey Lady Kim, join us." one of my colleague in the team called me, she's excited and seem drunk.

I shake my head while waving my hand on the air, a small smile rest on my lips.

"I will pass. I have to arrange my things since we are leaving tomorrow." I said exhaustively before pushing the door like one who's lifeless, entering into the room.

It's not like I don't want to join their party or whatsoever fun that they are catching but I just wasn't in the right mood.
