Only A Fool

Morgan becomes immobilised at the sight of the vase spinning towards him from upstairs. He forgets to dodge it, petrified with his jaw drops. He even fails to think of closing his eyes.

As the vase about to clash on his face, it is suspended in the air, with its top pointing inch away from his nose, causing his eyes to squint. If this vase has really hit him, he will be dead for sure. But, how does the vase stop by itself without falling on the ground?

Before he can think of any absurd explanation, the vase drops on the floor, startling him backing off as it shatters next on his feet.

'That was close.' Morgan grinds his teeth in fury as he shoots a dagger look in the direction upstairs where Samantha's room is located. 'What a pervert!'

Morgan lays his eyes back to the shards on the floor, and smirks in a mocking manner. 'You broke this. So, don't expect me to clean this up. I didn't see anything.'

He takes a long stride, ignoring it.
