Chapter 10: BEGGING FOR A CHANCE

Raven's POV

My conscience just doesn't give me peace of mind. It's been a week since Zeb came and made a scene in front of our house. And it's been a week since Axel didn't show up. Yeah, I remember. He's out of town, and maybe he made sure that Zeb wouldn't be able to come and disturb me before he came back.

I saw a car parked in front of the gate. And when the door opened, it was none other than Axel.

"Hi babe, how are you?" He asked like nothing happened. He kissed me on my cheeks, and he gave me his presents. I know it's something from Europe. He always does that. Every time he has a trip abroad, he never forgets to buy something for me and my family.

"I'm okay. How about you?" I asked, well, actually, that is not exactly what I wanted to ask.

"Well and good. I closed the deal, and everything went well. Right after the wedding, we will go to Europe and maybe spend the honeymoon there. Or if you want, we can stay there for good.. to be far fr
