Chapter 9: THE FINAL SAY

Zebastian's Pov

"Raven—."

Raven can't even look at me. I missed her, and I was expecting her to hug me, or if not, even just to stare at me and tell me that she missed me too.

"Raven, can we talk? I know things weren't that good for the past few days. You asked for freedom, and I have given it to you, thinking that it will make you feel comfortable in your job and in achieving your dreams. I love you, that is why I didn't stop you from doing what makes you happy! But why? Of all people, Raven? It's been Axel all along.. it's been Axel who is the real reason why you broke up with me. Why? Am I not enough?"

I had the courage to ask her that stupid question, though I already knew the painful answer.

Raven took a deep breath. She changed a lot. I can no longer see that woman whom I loved before. The woman who used to look at me with so much love All I can see now is a woman who has a cold heart. a woman who doesn't want me in her life.

"Zeb, you should not be here. We already talked abou
