The Confrontation

It seemed like the world had stopped from revolving that moment when we heard the explosive sound and found out that half of the Broadcast Room was now burning down.
"Zanaya is still inside!" Arya exclaimed with tears in her eyes.
She had been hysterical when everything had sunk in her mind. A series of sobs from her could now be heard along with the shouts of commands from the authorities as they tried to put out the fire.
I should have listened to them. I should have listened to her. This shouldn't have happened. I could have helped her. If only I didn't let my pride and ego get in the way. We could have made a better plan.
I tugged at my hair while still staring at the burning part of the Broadcast Room.
Why didn't I listen to her? She's trying to explain, but I refused to listen. I even started hating her. Damn, I think I hate myself
