Chapter 70: Hugo Explained

When Damon, Raven, and Hugo came out of the basement, they saw Cael enter the gate and run in a hurry. Damon immediately called him. Cael turned his attention to them and approached them immediately. He was looking at the three of them with confusion.

“What happened?” Cael asked.

“It’s done,” said Hugo. “We killed the witch.”

Cael frowned. “Seriously? Did you defeat the enemy without my help?” Cael asked in disbelief.

“Someone help us..” Raven said.

“Who?” Cael asked.

“It’s better that we leave here first. Anyway, where is Kyra?” Hugo asked.

“In the hospital,” said Cael.

“What?” Damon, Hugo, and Raven asked in shock.
