Chapter Twenty Nine

Sarita rubbed her bleary eyes as she stumbled into the building through the open doors having being pushed around by a few students in their haste to get inside even though she didn't know why they were rushing, seeing as the first bell had not rang yet.

She groaned as she felt a headache coming on and used her fist to massage the back of her neck to relieve the tension there but two hands replaced her fist making her jump a foot in the air and whirled around to look at the intruder but it was only Vikrant who had a wide boyish smile on his face.

"Good morning." He said.

"Morning." She grunted. "How are you so happy? I feel like I'm dying."

He lost his smile and immediately looked concerned. "Are you okay? Didn't you sleep well?" He fired questions at her. "You're not ill, are you?"

"I don't know." She trudged slowly to her locker. "My throat is itchy and sore and I feel weird."
