Chapter 87: The Clever Wife

Daniel's POV

"Where are you going, sir?" Enriquez asked.

"I'll go find the USB." I continued walking until I got to the elevator. I pressed down on the button. "Javier, I'll leave you here."

"Huh? Why?" Javier was surprised.

"You too, Enriquez," I said. "I can't trust another police officer with my wife. I want you two to watch out for her while I'm gone."

"But sir, how about you?"

"I'm okay." I just said. "Keep me posted on what happens." When the elevator door opened, I got in.
