Another day to head to the office.

My secretary just called, informing me about the arrival of a foreign client from Japan.

Not wanting to delay, I made my way down the stairs, just to find Clara waiting for me.

I thought she had gone already, since today was her last exam, but she's still around.

"Why aren't you on your way to school?" I asked, getting closer to her point where she stood.

Clara shrugged and said, " I thought I should wait for you. Maybe if you could drop me off instead of a guard."

"And you think I have time to take you to school and then to my office?" I lifted my brow at her.

"You do that sometimes, so yeah. You should have time. " She crossed her arms at me, acting like it's my responsibility to attend to her needs.

Well, I don't blame her for being this way. I'm the one who made the suggestion to her mother, that I could watch over her till she's back from Italy with my father.
