DIEGO

Evening finally came. I stepped out of my room heading for the dining, only to find the room empty of Carla.

I assumed she was still in her bedroom, getting ready to join me for dinner, but she didn't step out for fifteen minutes after my arrival.

"Have you called her?" I asked one of the maids that stood next to me.

She looked towards the entrance, responding to my question, " I did call her, Sir. But she said she's not hungry."

"Not hungry?"

"Yes sir," She answered.

It was obvious that Carla was doing this just to ignore me, all because of what I said in the morning.

With a sigh, I got off my seat and exited the dining room to meet her.

I was about making my way up the stairs when I spotted Carla, near the living room, heading into another path.

"She was there all these time?" I carefully distanced myself from the stairs, going after Carla to speak to her.

"Yes, I made her upset with my words, but it doesn't mean she'd pass that anger to her meal," I groaned, following her fro
