It felt nice shaking hands with Diego, making peace with him at last.

Although we've been doing fine for some time now, It still didn't feel like we've officially accepted each other as friends.

But now, I know we are.

I drew my hand back from Diego, as we both looked at each other awkwardly, not knowing what to do next.

"Maybe I should leave you to get ready for tomorrow and..."

"No, " I said unexpectedly.

That got Diego looking at me curiously, asking, "No?"

"I mean..." I didn't know what to use and back up my response. It just came out unexpectedly and now I'm kinda stuck.

"Don't you want to head back home? Or do you wish to stay with me for another month? " He asked, letting out his cunning smile.

I felt my cheek burning red as I gave out a chuckle and said, " No, that's not why."

"Oh, then why the No? " He asked, showing his curiousness.

Diego's eagerness to hear my response left me feeling somehow pleased.

Aside from my mother and my late father, no one else has ever giv
