"Maybe he went somewhere. I'm sure he's fine," Mom assured Mr Smith, so he won't get worried about his son.

"Well, if you say so then. I'm just worried about my boy. He hasn't been himself after the incident," Mr Smith said, sighing out.

That got me feeling upset within.

He left because of me, now we don't know where exactly he has gone to.

Seeing the troubled look in Mr Smith's eyes, I had to step in and keep his mind calm.

"He said he had something to attend to before leaving. Maybe it's not work related. But don't worry, I'm sure he'd be back. He's Diego after all."

Both Mom and Mr Smith smiled at me, finally feeling better.

"You're right. He's Diego after all. Seems you know your brother better than I do, " He said letting out a chuckle.

I managed to give a smile, still worried about Diego's whereabout.

Mom and I soon left for home while Mr Smith headed for his, promising to put a call through to Diego when he gets home.

That night in my room, I couldn't sleep.
