My eyes were still locked with Diego's.

He kept staring at me without making a blink.

I could feel my body turn hot just looking at his entrancing face. It got my heart swelling with a temptation to brush my lips against his cheek one more time.

But I had to pull myself out of this thoughts, breaking the lock between us.

I gave a smile, looking the other way, saying, "Wishing you good luck at the office. It's a boring environment, so..."

I directed my gaze back at Diego again. He still had his eyes on me, and that got me feeling hot even more.

"So be a good... Em... Do well at the office," I stammered, saying whatever that came to my mind, with my eyes looking elsewhere than his face.

I was beginning to sweat within.
