Chapter 61

CARLA

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. That got me stretching out wide, letting out a yawn.

"What a night?" I gaped out, dimming my eyes open.

When I looked around and noticed I was in my room, my eyes grew large at once, with my head hovering around in astonishment.

"How did I get here?" I jumped out of bed, but fell back on feeling my eyes turning.

"Wow. Easy there, Carla. Just relax," I said to myself, relaxing back on my bed.

I lifted my gaze to take a quick look around my room.

"But I was with Diego last night. Did he bring me here?" I wondered, seeing that as the only explanation currently.

"He must have brought me here when I fell asleep deeply. Otherwise I would have felt when he was carrying me if I wasn't," I believed, knowing myself.

Once my eyes came all calm, I got out of bed, making my way out of the room.

My mind on Diego, wondering if he had left already.

It was six in the morning and I was sure Mom would be back home.
