I had my eyes following Diego, who walked up to the couch, staring at the bowl of ice cream I kept on it.

He took a look at me, wearing a quizzical expression on.

I dimmed my eyes at him, asking, "What? Never seen an ice cream in your life before?"

"I have. Just haven't seen a frustrated lady like yourself. One who has nothing to do but sit here, watch a horror movie, and bury herself in a big bowl of ice cream," He teased me, letting out a chuckle.

Not wanting to show the smile that wanted to escape my lips, I said, acting all tough, "You can laugh all you want, Diego. At least I was doing something." I glowered at him.

I saw Diego smirk with his eyes falling on me. That sent an electric wave around my body with my eyes leaving his point.

"Is it me or is the room suddenly turning hot?" I waved my hand at my face for breeze.

With the corner of my eyes, I could see Diego coming my way.
