Everything slowly sinks in for Yvette, who was almost killed just seconds earlier, just like her sister. Her teeth gritted when she suddenly got the idea that it was Irish Williams doing.

"You aren't safe if you are alone. Where are you going? I'll give you a ride," Clyde insisted.

Yvette glared at him. "You think I am willing to come with you?"

Clyde heaved a sigh. He licked his lower lip and grazed his palm on his hair.

"You are in danger, Yvette," Clyde said while gritting his teeth. His eyes were full of anger, but she knew that it wasn't for her. "You think I will let you face this alone while you are putting your foot in the grave?"

Yvette wants to growl at him, but the mention of her real name halts her words. She glared at him intently.

"We have the same goal here. I want to do Yvonne justice properly. I want to punish who's behind her death."
