When tomorrow morning came, the first thing that welcomed their sight was Clyde's parents, who were already in front of the door of Yvette's penthouse.

Clyde helped them with their things, as Mrs. Smith cannot take her eyes off Yvette. Yvette was kind of nervous because she knew his mother knew she was Yvette and not Yvonne, which she used to know.

Mrs. Smith's eyes drifted to her hands as if she were trying to find some evidence, and there it was: the ring.

"Wow. I haven't really appreciated Paris this much. But wow. It's quite not bad, huh? It felt so peaceful and cozy," Mr. Smith commented as he looked out the window, seeing the Eiffel Tower as a view.

"Yvette is quite obsessed with Paris, Dad," Clyde said after putting their things in their own room, which is the guest room.

Mr. Smith glanced at his son. "Now I slowly understand why you're obsessed with it too. You almost wanted to live here." He arched his brow.
