Dropping Thalia off at Daycare she's more than excited to crawl toward the big pile of toys that her friends are playing with. She smiles at them picks up a little piano and starts making noise smacking her fingers about "Oh you must be Thalia's mother how nice to meet you," the lady says in Russian as she walks toward me. Shit, this has never happened to me so I'm going to have a little fun. Nina POV:When I reach home I find him already parked in the driveway. What- how did he get here so fast? Parking the car I climb out and lock the car. Daniel POV:"Can you two please sign here and here" the lawyer says handing us a pen. I look over at Nina and she looks nervous. Hell, I'm nervous. Taking the pen I sign where I'm supposed to sign and I hand over the pen for Nina to sign. She takes the pen and signs it. Our signatures hand and hand on a white sheet of paper with words that tell us that Thalia's ours"Fantastic," the lawyer says taking the paper and pen. "What happened" Daniel whispers as he starts the car swerving it back onto the road"She's okay ma'am an-" I cut her off. I'm trying so hard not to panic. Nina POV:I feel helpless. Thalia has been in the hospital for 3 days and she keeps asking me when we'll go home and I just don't know how to answer her. I don't even know how I can even take her pain away.If I was a good mother I would have been able to detect her cancer earlier.
