Chapter 23 White and Black Wolf

As I follow Indigo and Ajax back to their headquarters, I can feel the covert tension. Indigo is doing a great job of concealing his emotions, but I wish I could have said the same for Ajax. He makes no attempt to hide the aggressive expression on his face, which tells me that he doesn't want me in the room.

“Belle, you haven’t told anyone yet, have you?” I lost my train of thoughts when Indigo raises the question.

“Told what about what?” I look away from Ajax, who was glaring at me, to address Indigo, who was seated behind the front desk of his office. Ajax and I are standing before him in full attentiveness.

“The abnormal wolf.” He says, eyes boring into mine ina serious manner. “Have you told anyone about what you saw?”

“Aside from this guy right here,” I jerk my thumb in the direction of Ajax. “None.”

I see Indigo breathing out a sigh of relief. “Good. We’re still safe.”

“Safe?” I wonder curiously and raise my brow. “What does that have to do with me telling anyone? Are you
