Chapter Thirty-Eight VIII

Celestine slowly opened her eyes. He felt heavy for reasons he did not know.

Even though he wanted to stand up he couldn’t because of the tiredness he felt in his muscles. Because he can't move. He just looked around. He was shocked when when he opened his eyes no white ceiling opened up to him.

"Oh, you're finally awake," Lander said when he noticed that he had barely moved in the backseat. He looked at Lander and only then did he realize that he was inside Lander's car and he had escaped to his hospital room.

"How are you? Feel better now?" he asked Celestine as his eyes focused on the road.

"A-A bit," she weakly answered.

In fact, he felt that his sleep was even worse because he felt even heavier now that he had just woken up but he chose not to tell Lander because he didn't want to worry about it.

"You sure?" he asked again to make sure Celestine was okay. Celestine smiled at his question.
