Chapter Thirty-Nine V

The moment he saw Celestine when she slowly opened the door, he immediately noticed the sadness in her eyes that evidently shown because of her swollen eyes.

She looked on her feet to avoid his eyes. As much as possible she wants to avoid the questions he might ask after seeing her swollen eyes that she choose to looked away even though she wanted so bad to stare at him because for her, it feels like a decade since she last saw him.

When she was unconcious at the hospital she don't remember what she had dreamed. However, she remembered a particular scene where she was chasing Vincent. She was chasing him and shouting to get his attention but he continued walking without looking back and the last thing she knew, her eyes is already staring at the white ceiling of her hospital room.

And until now, that dream still haunting her even with her eyes open.
