Chapter Thirty-Seven IV

"Here, keep the change," Sophia said as she was handing a money on the cashier.

The cashier smile at her and shook her head afterwards. "Ma'am, no need. We'll make this drink free for you."

"No, seriously I want to pay for it," she insisted but the woman shook her head again and hold her hand that is holding the money then the cashier pushed it gently back to her.

"No, I insist, ma'am. We'd like to give you a free drink for bravely saving Miss Celestine. We don't know what could have had happened if you didn't save her. It's a relief to know that she is fine now," the cashier said then she let out a deep sigh.

"What do you mean?" she asked then put the money back on her pocket.

"Sir Vincent is here now to investigate what happened. He suspect that everything is not just an accident and there must be someone who drowned Miss Celestine—"

"That's impossible! She did it herself. No one told her to save the ball. She got drowned because she choose to help," she blurted.
