Chapter Twenty-Three

"It's your fault, Celestine. You killed her. It's your fault."

"No, I didn't. I just protected myself. It's not my fault. She's trying to k-kill me first," Celestine murmured as her eyes started to become blurry again because of the tears that attempting to fall from her eyes. She's sitting on the cold tile floor of the hospital and hiding on the side of the bed. Her hands were covering her ears, trying to shut down the little voices in her head.

"It's your fault, Celestine. You killed her. It's your fault."

Her shaky hands run to her hair and frustratedly pulled it. She shouted and hit herself a couple of times. Her body is betraying her, as well as her mind. They're forcing her to believe that it was her fault. And no matter how much she tries to shut them up, they wouldn't budge. They're whispering, endlessly, trying to push her to her limits.

The voices at the back of her head are slowly trying to get ahold of her sanity. It was
