Austin’s Point of View

While sitting at my workbench. Finishing the last details of my plan. I stare at it. A smile started to make its way to my face. This might work. This might actually work. If everyone follows the plan, it might be full proof. Don’t worry father and Crissy we will get you guys out of there. Not long now. Soon you will be safe at home.

There is a knock on my door. I’m startled by the loud knock. Grabbing my chest, my breaths fast.

“Come in!” I yell, then I start rolling up the paper.

“Sir, I think your team is ready.” The commander states while standing in the doorframe.

“Good. Let’s go.” I stand up and make my way out of my room. Following the commander.

Walking beside the commander, we make our way to the training area. Everyone is standing there waiting for me to arrive. I stare at them, and they salute me. I salute back. My heart feels like it is melting—the love and loyalty of my pack. This is something that every Alpha longs for. A true and loyal pack only
