Chapter 28

August's POV

The car is parked in front of the boutique. I released a heavy sigh. It's a good thing it didn't follow through on its threat earlier because I would lose my mind. I still have a lot of things to do and I am not even finished with my duty today.

Cayden came downstairs and I was about to open the door but he didn't want to open it. Well, why? But this is what I hate about these cars, I'm not familiar with the buttons. But Cayden just swiftly opened the door and I don't even know how he was able to. But I can see he is holding his car keys so maybe there is a button there that will let you lock and unlock the car from the outside.

I came down too. I can sense right away the noticeable glances of the bystanders. The girls are busy ogling Cayden. I can't help myself but glare at them but they don't notice me. Their focus is on Cayden alone.
