"I'm trying my best"

Darkness.
That is the first thing my mind registered, I try moving my eyes but feel a weight on them that was stopping them. I try to focus on my surroundings, I realise that my closed eyes are the reason behind the darkness.
I try to open them now, my eyeballs move beneath my shut eye lids. Slowly my eyes flutter open, I open them cautiously in fear of burning them by some sudden light.
My heavy eyes finally open up, instead of light I find myself surrounded by darkness, again. I blink a couple of times and tilt my head to my side.
A soft dim light was lit in the room, it was lit enough to manevour your way around the room. I study around me. I was in my room laying on the soft bed.
