Grace and Alexander Monroe

It took Maxmillian about an hour to figure out Amelia's location. He found both Amelia and his son, Alexander, at a restaurant close to the park, and just immediately rushed into the restaurant to get her.

"What are you doing here?" Maxmillian asked her.

"Oh, hi father. Amelia and I were just catching on," Alexander answered.

Maxmillian became more upset, and he dragged Alexander by his shirt collar.

"Never in your life refer to me as Father, ever again" Maxmillian warned, his voice deep and clear.

"But he is your son," Amelia interrupted.

"Stay out of this," Maxmillian said, confronting Amelia.

He immediately let go of Alexander's shirt, he took Amelia by her wrist, dragging her out of the restaurant against her will, leaving Alexander there alone.

"Stop pushing me Max, you are hurting my wrist," Amelia pleaded.

As they got to the park, Maxmillian released Amelia's hand from his grip. He stared at her miserably, totally dumbfounded.

"Why?" Maxmillian asked, "I know we have our issues, Amelia, but ..... Why? You don't even know that guy, and you went out with him? Yet you won't talk to me. You had me worried sick about you, Amelia. I don't want you going out with him", Maximilian pleaded.

"He is your son," Amelia said.

"I don't consider him a son yet" Maxmillian Knight yelled. "I don't trust him. He may harm you. Besides, he just came out of nowhere."

"Why would he want to harm me, Maxmillian? We were only having a conversation before you came in. He was trying to make me feel better, after all the trauma you've put me through'' Amelia explained.

"He is no good for you....."

"You don't know that" Amelia yelled, cutting. Maxmillian words.

"There are a lot of things I do want to tell you, a lot of things I want to explain to you, but I just can't. I'm sorry Amelia, but I don't ever want to see you anywhere close to Alexander again" Maxmillian said.

His voice breaks softly. He knew it was the best decision to keep Amelia safe.

"You can't tell me what to do". Amelia answered.

"If you love me, Amelia, if you love me like you claim you do, then you will do just this one thing I have asked of you: stay away from Alexander, Please," Maxmillian begged.

The weather was unnecessarily cold all of a sudden. The storm was coming, and dusk was fast approaching. Maxmillian hauled Amelia to himself, caressing her face softly. He placed a kiss on her forehead and hugged her tightly. He could see Alexander staring at them from afar.

"I'm sorry for letting you go through all of this, but listen to me Amelia, I won't let anyone hurt you, I will die protecting you. Everything I do, and every decision I make for us is just to keep you safe. Okay?" Maxmillian said.

Amelia nodded in agreement, her face still cupped around Maximillian's palm. As tears almost streamed down her eyes, he planted a kiss on her lips. "Go home and wait for me. I'll join you soon", Maxmillian said.

He watched as Amelia left the park, and couldn't let his eyes go off her. He wanted to make sure she was safe to walk alone and that no one would hurt her.

"That's one fine chic you got there" Alexander interrupted.

"Never in your life would you go anywhere close to her again. The next time I see you with her, I will make sure I kill you myself" Maxmillian roared.

"Whoa, slow down... Father," Alexander teased.

"Listen to me. I told you before, I never did plan to have you. I will let you and your mother stay with me for a little while, as long as you both follow my instructions. Which is staying away from Amelia. I won't warn you again," Maxmillian threatened.

"Or what?" Alexander asked defensively.

"You and I both know that she has no idea who you are... Or should I say "WHAT" you are." Alexander smirked. " And I believe that you have not been so truthful to her either. Isn't that why you can't make love to her? You are scared she might turn into a monster just like you did to Grace.

"Your mother drugged me, she made me drunk, I wasn't myself," Maxmillian said.

"I don't want to know who is at fault. I'm in the picture now Maxmillian, planned or not. I am a product of your carelessness. I don't care how you feel, or she feels, Father. But my mother has always taught me to get what I want, and if I want Amelia, I will get her, no matter what it will take," Alexander concluded. He shoved both his hands into his trouser pockets and left.

"I'd run to the house as fast as I could if I were you before Grace tells Amelia things you don't want her to know," Alexander added.

Back at the house, Amelia had just entered. The whole living room had a nice food scent which Grace had prepared for dinner while she awaited everyone.

"Oh, you are here. Amelia. I guess" Grace asked. Trying to remember Amelia's name.

"Yes," Amelia replied uncomfortably. She looked at Grace, wondering what she was up to.

"Would you like to join us for dinner?" Grace Monroe asked. Her voice sounded so soft and swift.

"Us?" Amelia asked again.

"Common, have a seat" Grace instructed, as she quietly pulled Amelia to one of the dining chairs.

She had this weird distressed smile on her face that frightened Amelia.

"I am not hungry, thank you," Amelia said, standing up from where she sat. "I just want to go up and have some rest, it's been a long day today," Amelia added.

She proceeds to head to her bedroom.

"Where is Alexander?" Grace asked.

"What?" Amelia replied rhetorically.

"Alex? You both went out together. Where is he?" Grace Monroe asked again.

"Oh, uhm, he... Sorry, I left him at the restaurant. He should be on his way back any moment from now", Amelia answered.

Her voice was breaking, and she became a little bit scared of Grace. The way Grace stared at her was not normal.

"What about Maxmillian? He went out searching for you. Did you see him?" Grace asked.

Amelia became furious and snapped immediately "Why all this question? You realize I'm not comfortable with you in this house, I'm trying to keep my cool here. I have no idea where Alexander and Maxmillian are, OK!!" Amelia yelled loudly.

"I'm surprised you don't care where your lover is. Don't you love him the way he loves you? Or are you scared of him because he is an..... "

Just immediately, Maxmillian entered the living room. Followed by Alexander

"What have you both been up to?" Grace asked. "I was just having a very interesting conversation with Amelia here," Grace said, pointing towards Amelia's direction. She headed back to the dining room to set the dining chairs and table properly once more.

"Why should I be scared of Maxmillian?" Amelia asked, "You were saying something again."

"Dinner is ready you all" Grace called out,

"Oh, I'm starving", Alexander added, finding his way to the dining table which his mother had set.

"Ain't you hungry?" Grace Monroe asked, staring at Maxmillian. She noticed the anger on Maxmillian's face but knew that he couldn't do what was in his mind.

"You have to leave this house this very minute" Maxmillian commanded
