Epilogue 1 (Natalia and Aaron)

~A few months later

Natalia's POV

My pregnancy journey was easy. There were difficult times, but compared to all the things I had heard and seen about pregnant women, I liked to believe that I had it good. I even rarely had all the morning sickness and nausea that was normal, and I thought I was lucky.

Now I was in the hospital bed, trying to deliver my baby, and it seemed like nature wanted to make me pay for all the easy pregnancy I had. I was in so much pain, I could barely breathe. I didn't have the strength to push any longer. I thought I was going to die.

Aaron was with me, holding my hands tight. He was whispering words to me, but I could not even make out what he was saying. All I could focus on was the seering pain I was feeling.

"Luna, please. It's almost out. Just a little more push." The midwife persuaded me, but I had given up.
