Chapter 65: Hybrid Wolves

After flying for several hours, we finally reach our destination. Per Gio’s instruction to the pilot, we landed on a private property, somewhere in the small town of Petersburg, Alaska.

From my research about this place, it’s located south of Alaska’s capital, Juneau. The map showed that it’s surrounded by bodies of water. Tourist pictures depicted small rural living. The sight in front of me paints a quaint and simple life. With the trees shedding their fall leaves, the damp somewhat-green grass, and the mountain ranges around us, this place looks like a painting.

The sight is refreshing to the eyes and uplifting to the soul.

The freezing cold air welcomes us when the jet’s door slides open. Even beyond the foggy surrounding, I can see the beautiful nature we are surrounded with. Two four-seater golf carts are parked nearby, each having a driver standing by.
