Chapter 44: The Man in the Cave

"We can't let this out!" A man wearing a hooded cloak shouted. "He died a long time ago, I made sure of that, and Faye rejected him. He should be weak and unable to fight, and yet you're telling me he went missing after the war?"

"We didn't find his body, sir," said the man who bowed down to him.

"Find him! We cannot let loose around. We cannot afford him killing everyone who helped us plan his murder," he roared.

The two men and the man in the cloak left, sitting on a makeshift chair inside the cave.

He was furious. He knew exactly who the rogue was and probably knew it wanted his head.
