"Vivian!" Zarayelled, barging into Vivian's room. She had gone for a meeting the other evening and had completely forgotten about her daughter but now that she remembers, she wasn't going to allow her to go scot-free.

"Mother," Vivian whispered, pulling the duvet to cover her head. She was hoping her mother would allow her to have enough sleep and talk to her later in the day but it seems she was wrong.

"The groom?" She asked, standing close to her daughter's bed. She shook her head at her daughter's laziness, others were awake by now but her daughter was still asleep at this hour of the day.

"What groom?" she retorted. That was the best response she could think of and thinking about it. She should have run off the other night, maybe sneaked into Lyla's home then she could have been saved from her mother's wrath. But she never thought of that, she was too busy thinking of the man she had met back at the ball.
