Chapter 73

With her body covered in a cloak, Vivian walked through the silent forest. Her eyes were void of any emotions and she had no idea of where she was heading to.

She needed air, she suffocated being in the palace with her mother constantly reminding her of her marriage and her father...he chose not to get involved.

She let out a frustrated sigh. It's been days since she went to the ball and days since her mother has been taunting her and days since she's been thinking of the man she met back at the ball. She wasn't supposed to remember him but she did and now...somehow, she can't get him out of her mind.

The eerie silence in the forest was slowly getting to her. If anything happens she knows for sure she won't be able to defend herself. She has always been weak and she knows too well it won't change now.

She has been all alone for a while now...more like she has been alone for her entire life. She was certain she would have been lonely if not because if Lyla and also Ana.
