A deafening silence took over the courtroom. Silent to the extent that a needle drop could be heard.

The elders were on their seats, their eyes were void and held no emotions in them. But still, all those present there knew they were all doing a good job in holding their anger instead.

Sebastian's eyes were on the door. He had been expecting the elders and he knew too well they would pay him a visit but he wasn't expecting them this soon. He hasn't even had the chance to speak with Vivian and now...he has no idea what this would lead to. In the end, the elders held more powers since he was just an Alpha, an Alpha but not a king.

Zara closed her eyes, as if she was lost in thought. She bit her lips, tapping the arm of her chair with her fingers. She was scared and for the first time she had no idea of what she would do.
