Chapter 95

Vivian walked through the silent corridor with no idea of where she was heading too. She was still finding it strange how she finds the palace so familiar and she was certain she has never been here before. She was so sure she had never walked through the walls of the palace before yet it felt so familiar and kind of...warm.

She walked back to the same familiar corridor. She stood in front of the wall, staring at it as if that would give answers to the questions on her mind but it didn't. And the truth was that she would never be able to get answers to those questions.

She reached out her hand to the wall, gently stroking it. Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in her heart. She felt sad and also...lonely.

The more she stood there, the easier it was for her to forget about what happened between her and Styx. She was still angry that she had lost her virginity that easily, she had saved it her entire life for her to lose it that easily and it was getting on her nerves.
