Edward picked up the bloodied head and hid it inside the bag that Mr Brown had gone to bring. Blood dripped from it and he had to cup his hands under the bag as he carried it to avoid it from dropping on the floor.

"Will that be enough, Your Grace?" Mr Brown asked and Edward nodded. He adjusted the now heavy bag on his hands.

"With the amount of blood dropping from this I don't think this can stay in the river till morn without someone finding it," Edward said as he removed his cupped hand from underneath the bag, pouring the blood that had filled it. He would make sure to have the traces removed after they were done.

"We'll find another alternative, Your Grace," Mr Brown said. "But we have to get to the river now before any of the servants or anyone at all get here.

Edward nodded.

He removed his hands from underneath the bag again and poured the blood on it before placing it there again.
