CHAPTER 27

“What is the matter” I asked curiously

I needed to find out the reason behind my mate's mood. Ever since she returned from her little visit, she had become aloof, carefully avoiding people.

I overheard her telling Abigail off, demanding for space and alone time, this was unlike my mate.

When we are alone she tries every possible way to avoid any conversation with me. This again was unlike my mate who always prefers me talking to her than Avoiding her.

I've caught her staring into space countless times, she hardly ate and kept to herself she was losing weight compared to how I had known her before.

I was troubled and so was Carl, I couldn't bear seeing her like that. Throughout her stay in her former pack I couldn't help but think about her pretty face and her nervous smile.

That smile has vacated her face, I needed to do something. I walked into our room that day , she was sitting alone as usual, lost in thought .

I came in with anger but seeing her face calmed me down,I went and sat
